your blog.

Blogging Tip No.  One
Focus on a Theme
Decide on a focus for your blog. If you blog about everything and anything, then it may be
difficult to acquire regular blog visitors. Blog about something of interest to your readers. Ask
yourself, why do I visit a blog/website more than once?

The answer is simple. The blog is supplying information or the entertainment you need.

Blogging Tip No. Two
Track Blog Visitors
You need a way to track the number of blog visitors. Go to www.sitemeter.com, it'll give you the
code to track  the number of blog visitors.

Blogging Tip No. Three
Regularly Write New Blog Posts
Add a new blog post at least twice per week. If your blog posts are not updated frequently,  your
readers have no reason to return. Make your blog posts interesting and well written.

Blogging Tip No. 4
Freebies
Everyone says to offer something free. If your blog isn't constructed to allow free pdf
downloads, direct them to your website and offer them there.

Blogging Tip No. 6
Join  Groups
Start joining groups that talk about your "theme". Comment on posts and end each comment
with your signature. Make sure your comments are on topic and contribute to the conversation.
Groups for writers are accepting of a longer signature. In other types of groups check the
guidelines. Members may only be allowed their name and link to their blog and website.

Regardless of the rules, post frequently with your basic signature (no teaser) until other
members  value your input. At that point other members will read your posts with interest. They
may become curious and decide to visit your blog or website.

Blogging Tip  No. 7
Visit Other Blogs with Your Audience
Just leave your basic signature at the end of your comments. Do this frequently. After a month
or two, contact the blog owner and ask to exchange links. If he/she will list your link, you will
reciprocate
.

Blogging Tip No. 8
Invite a Guest Blogger
By hosting a guest blogger, you can draw their audience. Encourage them to mention it on their
blog. Make sure all guests post on a subject of interest to your readers.
